After creating Octane compositor nodes the compositor pass does not add automatically to Render AOV Output "Preview render pass" drop down menu. To make it appear there I have to disconnect Render AOV group and connect it again to Render AOV Output. This happens in all builds up to 28.16

Yes, that's a well known bug, but not an easy fix, it looks like (I reported that since the first time Compositing has been implemented).
