Material Icon change

Hello
Sorry for dumb question, but I didn't find how to change the material icon shape with octane.
I want to connect huge lists of geometry by materials, but within hierarchy and not globaly,
and material icon preview looks sometime the same. By using different shapes it helps a lot to distinguish them each others.
Usually with others render engines, I right clic the icon and switch the preview (sphere, torus, rounded cube aso… ) but it doesn't seem to work here.
Also note I'm octane X user. Hope it's not a limitation from OS ?
