Animation output issue 28.x

When rendering an animation and Octane Output is selected for file saving Blender output also saves images. This results in duplicate files.
Could you fix it and make sure Blender saves either using Octane Output or Blender output or both?

An "Exclude Beauty" option has been added for that.

You must have misunderstood me. When Octane Output is enabled Blender ALWAYS saves file using default Blender output. This happens weather Exclude Beauty in Octane output is enabled or not.
This results in extra files that were not supposed to be saved.

The bug continues in 28.13
Moreover when project path is set to "//" Octane output does not save the file.

There's no way to exclude Blender's output image, sadly.
I normally use it at my advantage, setting Blender's output to an animation format (mp4). That way I can get a preview of my animation once the render is finished.
About the "//" saving issue, can you please explain it better with an example?

Thanks.

Hi Lino, if you put double slashes "//" in output path Blender knows this is the location of a project file and will save there the rendered images. If this is used in Octane output path the file is not saved. Only Blender output is being saved.

When using Render+ addon with Cycles it is possible to exclude Blender's output and only use Render+ specified output. Maybe there is a way to do the same when rendering with Octane.
