problem chaos node with displacement

hello I have a problem with the chaos node when I used it with the img on diffuse. I have duplicated the same chaos node for both (diffuse and displacement) and the displacement map is not on the same place. Could you help you help me because it's not logical for me ?

Hi,
with Chaos node, you need to use Vertex Displacement, instead of Texture Displacement, or use a Baking Image Texture node before Texture Displacement.

Hi Beppe,
that's true, but you surely know that Vertex displacement is too heavy for mid / large objects. Not useable for large terrains where you also need small details, as example.

Mine is not a whine, i love Octane and i just would love to see some long-date improvements since sometimes i am forced to work on other engines just because Octane cannot do some root level stuff.
I hope you will manage to fix some limitations in next future, and if you need specific examples to nail these down just ping me, i'm also available for a VC to show everything in detail.
