Addon 28.7 error installing add-on

I am receiving the following error while trying to install the add-on.
Blender version 4.0.1

It's probably best to manually delete the old addon folder and copy the new one there. After that restart and activate the addon.

As stated by Andreas, that's the best practice when installing a new addon version.

Isn't 28.7 supposed to work with Blender 4.0.1? You just wrote that it worked.

my bad, I meant 4.0.2. and I got an error like, "this add-on made for 4.0.1 may occur some issues or something like that.."
