since refractive is no longer recommending CUBIX expanders is there a similar product?
I´ve been looking around, but couldn´t find anything that looks professional.

By the way: how do these expansion boxes deal with the heat generated by multiple Graphics cards.
If i put four GTX 580 in such a small box, i guess the whole thing would go up in flames within minutes...?

Any experience With that?

You could invest less money in a new Mobo with 7 or 8 PCIe slots, a customised Case with PCIe riser cables, two PSUs and GTX-cards.

this could also be the answer to joe.renderstream who wants to sell us his 15.000$-machine....

i think, there was someone who did that and posted pictures of a custom-made wooden rig.
Does somebody remember?
