got a new comp a few days ago, and it still appears there... obviously everything is fresh and clean installed
is there any way to avoid this? any way to reload that tab? its just a visual issue, you can still tab blindly through all materials but ofc you cant work like that

happened sometimes and was gone again when reloading the file but this time it became permanent

It happens sometime just reload daz

yeah thats what i was used to... but now it happens about 90% of the time i wonder if there is any other workaround...

Thank you for the post.

We are still trying to replicate this issue.
In the meantime, please delete the **OctaneRender_settings.oczdb** file from the path *C:\Users\[username]\OctaneRender\Data\* to reset the Octane settings and let us know if this fixes it.

i was never able to intentionally reproduce this error but is has been there since the plugin exists (and meanwhile 4 computers later)

Yeah, it would be easier for us to catch the steps to reproduce or maybe a sample file with this issue.
Just curious to know if you have the *Load OctaneRender materials from .duf user presets* option enabled in the preferences!
Can you please enable it if the checkbox is disabled and let us know the result?

load materials from duf presets is and was always on

sadly its not about single files, it works fine everywhere or nowhere

well yes, today ofc but that never was a real solution, sometimes it is ok for a few hours or until next daz studio restart, sometimes for days but it always appeared again. as i told, i endure this problem since 2014

one year later and nothing happened

after more than 10 years i stop using daz and octane now, should have done that way earlier
blender and cycles are unbelievable smooth when you are used to this chunky stuff
