This is one of my first test with Octane.

Created with Poser Pro 2010 the imported in Cinema 4D for texturing and posing with my own plugins then finally exported to Octane Render.
Postwork: Photoshop CS.

Sure,

I've only a NVIDIA N250GTS (128 processors I think), a 450GT would be more appropriate.

I'm just discovering Octane software, so I suppose I there are a lot of things I have to learn :D

Try to create a skin material with absorption. It might not be SSS but it does work in a similar fashion. You can create a mix material with a glossy material which will hold your skin map and a specular material with absorption and then play with the depth of absorption value and the mix amount. ;)

Thank you,

I will try, but on a sphere first because of computation times :)
