Glossy vs diffuse

Hi everyone!
I've been using Octane for commercial interior renders.
I use a lot of white, but if I use glossy white, customer complains, but I don't like to use diffuse because of no reflection.
So, this might be stupid question,
Is it possible to make diffuse like white with glossy material?
I.e, white paint on metal object(office cabinet and etc..).
I want to make white with little bit of reflection, but if I try, always comes out grayish color.
Thank you!

Use Glossy but just keep the specular value right down and increase the roughness.

That way you'll get a satin finish to the white , rather than a glossy finish.

Reverse it the other way and you'll end up with something approaching chrome / silver.
just have a play with these 2 sliders.

See screen grab attached.
