Hello everyone.
I am starting with different Tutorials for Cinema 4d and Octane Plugin.
I would like to get a better Result at the Walls. I really need a Displacement Map with a Wallpaper of Rough Surface.
I finally was getting this Kind of Lighting in the Scene. Far better than my Resusts with other Renderer.
I need some advise at the Interior and the Skin and Cloth for my Character. I am preety new to the Functions of Octane for Cinema 4d.
Especiely The Setup for the Lights and the SSS Settings would be Helpfull.
Here are my Screens.

I have testet the ACES Settings for Interiors.
At least i got a little understanding of Linear and SRGB Settings.
I use the Actual ACES Plugin.
This is my actaul Result. I have Exposure 10. The Lights are weak set.

I would like to know how i can make the Walls more realistic. I cannot find any Wallpaper Texture. At least not the Dispalcement Texture for raw Wallpaper.
Here are my actual Screens.

You might want to look into bump and normal mapping before you try displacement on your walls. It is a subtle enough effect that you really don't need to pay the price of all those extra polygons.
If you have some real-world examples of what you are looking for, we might be able to make some better suggestions.

I modified the Lightning and gave the Room some Displacement.
The Displacement is a Hard Piece of Work.
At least it is better. I work with the Denoiser and had to Setup the Blur.
Maybe you got some Tips.
Here are my Screens.

So finally here is my actual Status.
After understanding the Setting of the Lights i got a Step foreward.
I still have a Problem to set the Bump map. The Light is a very delicate work.
Check the renderings and give a hint how to set the Lights settings.

I have some Troubles to Setup the Walls rightly with a Noise Shader.
I got only big Shades of the Bump and cannot get it smoother and smaler.
Would be a Baked Texture better, or do i get somewhere a Rough Wallpaper Bump/Displacement Shader ?
The other Shaders of the Object are no Problem. I need a good Advice at the Walls. Here i use a Bump Map.

Final at least.
I opened a Wall and let some Light into the Room. I would have to figure out how to make a Interior Animation if i have multiple Angles.
Here is my actual Status. It ws a lot easier as soon i opened the Wall.

Well.
This was a hard landing.
I am very sorry for my Mistakes i have made.
At least now i figured out the right Setting.
I use c4d r23 and the actual Octane Multiversion. Very nice tool.
The whole Secret is to make the right Setup for the Room itself and mostly important to set all Shaders to Octane or Lambertian. And use the Standard Material or the Universal. Never use Oren Nayar.
In this Scene i got just 4 Area Lights for the Windows, and a single Texture Sky Shader. Not the HDRI Sky Shader.
I still used my old bought Shaders, but i convertet them in Substance Painter and made my own Normal and Displacement Shaders.
The last Point i have to work on is that the Light still seems to be cold.
Can anyone give me a Tip how i can modify the Lighttemperature to get a nice warm Lighting ?
At least this is my current Status on Interiors.
