New Release doesn't see any cards

I've got a couple of issues.
1.) I recently installed another GTS 450 Card. That makes two of the same cards in my system. 1.022 x64 identifies and works with my two cards, BUT a line break appears in the middle of all of the renders, I suppose one card is rendering one half of the image and other card is taking care of the other half. How do I get rid of that line in the middle.
2.) I recently installed the newest version of Octane. 1.025 2.53beta x64 and it does not see ANY of my cards.
I downloaded and installed the most recent Nvidia developers kit before installing the new version. I wondered if SLI was the problem, but SLI does not appear in my Nvidia control panel. I'm assuming that is because I don't have a physical sli cable running between the cards, but I have no experience using sli. I'm assuming that such a bridge is a physical cable and that it is used on all cards to enable sli. Since I don't have it I'm guessing that SLI is naturally off and so I'm not given the option to turn it off.
Any ideas?
