This prompt will pop up as soon as you open the octane renderer

Does this happen only with a specific project? If so, it sounds like you've got a broken/corrupt shader. Try deleting 1/2 of your materials before opening the renderer. Does is crash? If so, open a fresh copy and delete the other half. If either of those work, then it's a simple matter of dividing by two, over and over, until you find the culprit. This is quick, even with a crazy number of shaders.
