Hi to all,
I'm using octane for 3ds max and when I'm saving to EXR files, it wont save the render elements except for crypto related render elements,
it happens only when I'm saving to exe file format, in any other format all the render elements are saved just fine
if I'm checking the "Save all render passes as a single multi layer EXR file" it works fine and all the passes are stored in a single EXR file but not in a separate files. there are no spaces or special characters in the files name.
any idea on how to solve this?

I don't think I understand your issue, cryptomatte files are saved incorrectly?

the render doesn't save the render elements as a separated files, only if I'm ticking the "Save all render passes as a single multi layer EXR file" then all the passes saved to a single file
that later on can be extracted in aftereffect, resulting with a huge files for each render
if I'm not ticking multi layer option no render elements are saved.
I've already wrote to otoy's technical support and they said that the issue is under investigation.
