Hi,

I am new to Octane, trying to learn specially its node system.

Now, C is down and S is up, not in order wise. It will be nice if each group shader node is in Ascending order, it will be easy and fast way.

Thanks.

I am new to this, and for one node... have to go through all the nodes....!

I think it will be easy and handy if these are sorted...!

Thanks.

Hi,
please note that you can now hit Tab or Space on your keyboard to easily search for the node you need:

Because of this, I'm used to hide the Side menu in c4doctane settings/Nodes tab, to have a little bit more of editing space.

Also note that you can disable some of the icons, to display only the node types you need:

Hope it helps.

ciao,
Beppe

May be you are old in Octane, I am new... few weeks old.

After years I will hide but now I have to see which node channels I have and where it is....!
I am doing some study but trouble is to find where it, have to go through all node list because its not in order.

In alphabet order it will be much helpful...!

I think that better to leave them as they are because they are sorted by frequency of use. Most important, that you use usually are on top.
