livedb won't open

I'm unable to open liveDB on both C4D R25 and C4D 2023. I'm using a macbook m1 max with Octane X Prime 2022.1 (12000020). The plugin version i'm using is OctaneRender-Prime-for-C4D-2022.1_OSX_m1.
i've tried removing the folder ~/Library/OctaneRender, to no avail.

Hi,
about LiveDB and M1/M2, latest OctaneX versions are distributed as free Prime version, to speed up the development, so LiveDB is not available.
If you are already in macOS 13 Ventura, you need to wait for the upcoming 2023.1 version.
If you are still in macOS 12 Monterey, you need to install commercial Studio version of OctaneX-PR14 in a different C4D version, access to the LiveDB from PR14, save the scene and reopen the scene in C4D-OctaneX 2022.1.

I sure hope octane on mac is going to improve soon, because every release seems to require new concessions.
