When i put exr fil type i get a full black image.
Tiff or png works.
Tho, i v got another problem, the tiff wont render in 16bit by default, there s no options in render settings. Then i got ugly banding and color loss in post.

like i found in a random post, i reboot and it when well... that s a little bit odd that no error shows up

Hi, where are you viewing the EXR file?
Is it a multi layered EXR?

Other file formats might benefit from the dithering option in the Camera Imager.

i really think thats a bug or smthng.
I realized then that when enabling composite exr, the rgb is a black image.

Thank you for the post.

Would you please confirm if you have the Save composite EXR file enabled?
If so then, create a Render AOV Group node in the Octane Render settings rollout!

We would request our dev if we can add support to 16-bit tiff!

Everything is good now that i understood that i had to activate render aov group.
One thing is different from other renderers tho : no beauty on the main rgb channel, why ?...

Thank you! Great to hear everything is good now.
My apology here, do you mean denoiserAOV and BeautyAOV in the final exr output?

If so, please check if "Don't save beauty pass" is enabled under the Additional rollout!
The Composite exr must be enabled to save multilayer AOVs
