So i tried out to render with the Octane image sequence saver. As soon i start to render with it, Cinema basically freezes and i can not even click on buttons anymore. The image sequence saver itself is working, but the freeze is so consistant, i can not even stop the rendering via the sequence saver. If i want to stop, i have to use the task manager and close down C4D entirely.

Is it just me or is it "normal"?

Did you try with simple scenes? And don't you see any progress/information messages in window or status bar?
