I find that my Octane does not recognize the Gentleman camera, is there any way to render this camera view in Octane?

You can create a Camera in C4D, and then select the Gentleman Camera in Projection of Object, which is a special kind of Camera that creates a 2.5D view, and I find that there are a lot of cameras that Octane doesn't recognize, rendering a black screen

OSL camera should help

more commonly known as cavalier perspective, but, yeah, in C4D called as "Gentleman Projection"

Make sure you select 'camera' from the OSL script category dropdown.
