Distribution Texture / Gobo not working

I'm trying to figure out why the Distribution texture doesn't work in Houdini.
I am properly setting the emission from Distribution texture and taking care of having a very small light source but nothing appears as if the selected texture is not mapped on the light's surface.
Doing the exactly same thing in C4D works as expected.
Latest Octane Beta and Houdini 19.5

I'm still trying to get it to work with Spectron lights but with Normal lights it needs to be set to Blackbody for some reason if set to Texture Emission it doesn't seem to work.

This could be a bug but I can't seem to be able to make the Spectron light work with distribution no matter what. I also tried the HDA that was made available by trogers in case I did something wrong but no such luck.

I find the Area Light HDA broken to be honest. Just got back into Octane after two years in RS and I find it quite extraordinary that new stuff like Brigade appear while a very fondmental thing such as a proper Area Light with a Spread slider as in every other renderer is not included.
Juango are you aware of the gobos not working for Houdini? Even editing the area light HDA and changing the texture projection in the light shader I can't create a simple gobo light with no distortion and no repeat. Please fix this.

Hmm, I'll take a look at it. The default projection had been designed to work with IES lights, but probably this is not compatible with the texture gobo effects.

Hopefully, the configuration of the gobo effect should be easier in the next build.
