Planetary Atmosphere settings

I've been messing around with creating planets/space environments and comparing using standard spheres vs using customized standard Planetary Environments, and the default Planetary atmosphere settings look better than I've managed to create with volumes/falloff/sphere field settings, etc.

How would one go about recreating the same look as the default Planetary Environment atmosphere settings, but be able to apply them to as many standard sphere "planets" as desired?

Hi,

The Daylight environment is indeed a, so to speak, hard-coded environment.

To apply it to a regular sphere geometry primitive, "baking" the environment would be required (32-bit EXR HDRI environment map file). Octane features "panoramic camera rendering", to do so. Do not hesitate to ask if you are unsure on how to do it.
