Hi friends.
a simple question: it´s possible to octane render a chanel like objet ID color or like vray wirecolor?, it´s too much easy to select objects in photoshop to pos production or color correction.
thanks for your time.

If you have vray you can always knock out another render and comp it. I am doing that now, actually. Vray is taking over 8 hours to render an animation, and octane is taking about 45 mins to do better quality... But the client wants render passes ( not reflection or diffuse type passes but object mattes, zdepth, velocity, etc ).
So I just setup a render sequence in octane, then matched it in vray with super low DMC settings like .05 noise threshold ( the passes I want don't rely on noise settings ).
Tested the comps in AfterEffects and they line up perfectly. However, I will say I'm not sure how octane lines up HDRIs, I'm using the same one in both and I get very different lighting angles. Will be testing that after I find some free time.
