New Default Values for Textures/Materials

Hey there,

as most of you`ve already seen - octane`s new version changed what the default colorspace is inside an imagetexture-node (non-color now) and the default value for transmission type (which is now diffuse).

Because of that, when loading in assets from old projects that were made with previous versions of octane, all the imagestexturenodes are set to non-color instead of linear-srgb+legacy gamma and all transmissions (in univsersal materials) are set to diffuse.

So here`s our problem:
We work in ArchViz so we have template files with presets for furniture, like living rooms, kitchens, eating spaces, etc. All made a long time ago.
We now have an intern going through them all manually and make the changes to transmission types and colorspaces to have the files correct again, but its a lot of work.
Is there any way to do that kind of work in bulk, like all at once?

Hi, not an Octane Cinema 4D user (Standalone) but that what a script would allow to do.

sure, but i'd need a solution that doesnt require a script, because like most of the 3d artists, i dont know shit about that.

I guess i also already found kind of a solution.
With the Octane Texturemanager youu can grab all your ImageTexture Nodes and do them all at once
