Decrease Contrast of a Texture

Hej.
i would like to decrease the Contrast of a b/w Texture so if fully deceased the image is neutral gray.
The Contrast Setting of the Color Correction Node isnt the right one...as it's only increase the contrast.
How would you do that in Octane?
If that hasn't been possible before.
I would like to suggest that the contrast slider go from -1 to 1 in the future. (like hue for example)
-1 would decrease the contrast til it's completly flat.
0 would not be a correction
+1 would increase the contrast til it's black and white
