Hello,

I have a question about licensing : I currently pay monthly for a Studio License.
I have one computer at home and one at the office and whenever I work on one or the other, the licence auto-activates, it works nicely.

In case of a big project, could I temporarily switch to the enterprise licence for one month only (and then switch back to studio),
and most importantly would the enterprise license enable me to work on both computers at the same time, for example doing some rendering on office comp (via VNC) while I do some shading on home comp, with both Octane plugins running at the same time ?

You'd buy a monthly enterprise sub and then that would let you use two computers at the sam time. Keep in mind that the studio license is a separate download from enterprise so one computer needs studio download (already done) and the other needs enterprise download. (you'd need to install it)

it's easy to cancel the automatic renewal (OTOY account > Subscriptions)

Just a quick bump as I'm not sure I understand something...
I have read that an Enterprise licenses also works on only ONE computer at the same time.

So couldn't I just purchase a second Studio license instead of an Entreprise one ? I don't need any network rendering, juste to be able to use the plugin on two computers at the same time. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
if you don't have more than 2x GPUs in the second machine, and you don't need Network rendering, then a second Studio license for one month is enough.

- Studio versions are less expensive, limited to max 2x GPUs, without Net render and Offline mode
- Enterprise versions have not these limitations
