I can't seem to see the whole frame anymore, only when I lock the resolution. What have I done?

Nothing special
If you zoom out the Live View (0.3 in your case), without the Lock icon active, the aspect ratio is taken from Live View dimensions, so just resize the Live View horizontally, to be able to see the whole frame.
If the Lock icon is active, the aspect ratio is taken from final render dimensions.

It's still happening, must be a bug of some sort.

It depends from the aspect ratio in render Settings/Output.
Please, when the Lock icon is disabled, resize the Live View horizontally, you should see two lines on top and bottom, defining the vertical limit of the frame.

Yes I see them, but that is not them that is limiting. Afte when I have changed from horizontal (1280x720) to vertical (720x1280) back to horizontal, this happends.

I think there is somthing wrong with my Octane setup, if I change from 2 to 100 samples, there is NO differens at all.
So I reinstalled (removed from plugin and reinstalled the OctaneRender_Enterprise_2021_1_1_win standalone and then the OctaneRender-for-C4D-2021.1.1-R2-win for C4D), but it did not help.

Is there a config file or somthing that I can delete?

Update, I installed S24 instead of R23 and it works fine in there.

Ok, nice to hear that the plugin is working correctly in S24.
