flipping studio licence

I normally use my Octane Studio subscription with a Mac Pro 5.1. I've just bought a monster dual 3090 threadripper PC, and want to use my licence on that. I might need to flip between the two machines until I get used to the PC.
How do I do that? Will it just work if I have Octane installed on both machines, but only run it on one at a time?

Hi,
yes, Octane licenses are designed to be automatically deactivated on exit, ready to be instantly activated on another machine.
But sometimes, the license can fail to be deactivated, due to a system update , or a crash, or an issue with internet connection.
In this case, you need to visit your personal Octanelive page, and deactivate your licenses by pressing the red Unlock button beside of both licenses, Standalone and plugin, if they are listed in blue as Active:
for Perpetual licenses
for Subscription licenses
If listed in green as available, you are good to go
ciao,
Beppe

So my Octane subscription licence is not deactivating, even if I shut down the PC, and restart the mac, then launch c4d. I know I can unlock the licence on the website, but why are there only 2 unlocks available? I might need to switch between machines several times.

Now that you have removed the unnecessary c4doctane version, correcting the installation, C4d should start and close without crashes, so the license should not be blocked anymore, correct?
