Installation question

Do you need to install a special version of Blender, you can't install this plugin to an Blender you already have? I am asking as I am testing out the new Asset Browser in Blender 3.0.0 Release Candidate. As I am looking to switch from Cinema 4D to Blender and this is a must have.
If so, is there a 3.0.0 version on the way? And does the Asset Browser support Octane materials?

Each Octane Blender is a special, separate build. So you have to wait for the devs to catch up.

Yes, 3.0 version is coming soon.
We're also pretty close to the addon version.

A version you can install in an official Blender release(no custom build needed anymore).

This is very cool news! I'm assuming that the devs have moved the code to Python? Will this slow things down any? Thanks,
Jason
