Hi,

is it even possible to run latest Octane Version 4.05R7 with a RTX 3090?
I still have a valid Octane/Plugin license left and would like to use it on another PC,
but the RTX3090 wont't be recogniced or can not be selected.
It get deselected automaticly everytime I try to activate it in the settings.

Hi Mike,
you need at least OctaneRender 2020.2 to have the support for RTX acceleration and Ampere RTX 30X0 GPUs, so you need to upgrade your license, and upgrade c4doctane to the latest version too.

I almost feared that!
So only way to use the old V4 License is to install a second
older 1080Ti or similar, right?

Hi Mike,
Turing 20X0 GPUs are supported too.

Only new Ampere 30X0 GPUs need 2020.2 SDK to work correctly.
