2021.1 different densities per GPU

I'm running Windows 10 with an RTX 2070 & an RTX 3070. I've been working with the 2020.2.5.1 plugin with few problems and my Nvidia version is fairly recent.
Decided to try 2021.1. The image I was rendering got segregated into 2070/3070 sections with the 2070 section looking considerably darker than the 3070 section. Also, when rendering the same scene with both plugins I found 2021.1 had a strong red cast over the whole image whereas the previous plugin was neutral.
So I had to roll back. 2021 is called EOL Tribute. Does that mean there will be no further updates? Because it appears it needs one.

The rendering differences between the two GPUs are probably a core issue that can be fixed in the next Octane core build, but I'm not sure about the whole tone difference. Can you please share an example scene with this issue to check your color configuration?
Thanks,

I can confirm the white balance is very different. Everything is rendering with a redish tint on it, compared to a much more neutral look with the old Octane Version. I saw C4D users complaining about it too, so it might be some core problem.
I have to use the white balance setting to get rid of the tint.

The redish tint in the default environment is expected in the new version. Its covered in the
patch notes under "Improved color processing".
If you want to get the same results as before, in the kernel settings, change the
White light spectrum from
D65 to
Legacy/Flat.

Ok but where in lightwave/Octane node ?

Hmm, Ok. This is the problem. This new parameter is not exposed in the kernel nodes. I'll try to expose it for an upcoming build, but meanwhile, you are going to need to update the scene white balance yourself.

Hi, this "orange/red" tint is making me some issues with overall look, I can't get look like in 2020.x anymore so all the projects i started in 2020.x are not really possible to continue in 2021 so Please Juan add that fix/change as soon as you can.
Thanks
