I'm trying to find a colorpicker for the backplate in the CAM Environment but the only option is to select a file. I only need a single color as backdrop.

When I dive in deeper of the octane_rendertarget node I can see that it is set up but it's not visible to me.

am I missing something or how can I do a RGB Texture as a backplate and not a file. This option is in the standalone and c4d version available and very useful to me.

Houdini v.19
Octane v. 2021

Thanks for any feedback.

You can edit the render target HDA, linking a ColorRGB node to the camera environment texture node, as you can see in the attached image. To unlock the render target HDA, you need to use the "Allow editing of contents" option right-clicking over it.

Thanks,

Thank you very much, that is exactly what I was looking for. Would be nice if it would be implemented under the CAM Environment Tab :-)
