Octane using wrong SubDivision Level Slider

Octane is using the wrong SubDivision Level slider in daz
It is using the "SubDivision Level" and not the "Render SubD Level (Minimum)" like it should d.o
So we have to have high subd in the viewport that will slow down the viewport instead of using the Render SubD Level (Minimum) like iray does in Daz

Octane is not really using the wrong 'slider'. Octane has only access to the mesh from the viewport. The last time i checked the public SDK for daz plugins there were no methods to get a more sub-divided mesh, like Iray is able. Not sure if otoy has more access as an official partner now, but the last time Paul checked it, it was still not accessible.

Hi Hun73rdk_1 & Kanne,
Thank you for the post.
We have created an internal ticket for our dev to investigate!
Cheers

Any updates on this? Nothing worse than forgetting to update the SubD level's before leaving the pc rendering overnight
