2 materials --> composite material

Since I ran quiete often into this situation:

When having 2 or more materials, say from quixel megascans, it would be a huge help to simple select these materials and when creating a composite material everything is hooked up correctly. Right now you have to copy the nodes over to the composite material and can't even copy/paste the whole material.

Is there any way to make this happen? :)

Cheers and thanks for the great work!

You may convert any octane materials to sub materials. See context menu in node editor. Then you can connect to composite material.

Oh, I didn't know that... it makes things certainly easier and faster, thanks for the tip. :)

Still, there are a few copy/pastes/delete steps to it. I know suchs things have no priority but maybe you can can keep it in mind that an automated system would be a big time saver. Converting all selected materials to sub materials and connect them to ONE composite material when creating a new composite material would be great. :)
