Upgraded to RTX3090 Octane 4 Cinema 4D Plugin License Error?

Hi all. I just need some clarification.
I bought my octane license back in 2018 for Octane Version 4, without All Access.

Everything has been working great, until I upgraded my GPUs to the RTX 3090 and now I am not seeing any Cuda Cores. When I tried to update the software, which I cant seem to get the standalone anymore, the download button is greyed out and no longer works on my license page.

Do I need to buy a new version here or am I just doing something very wrong? I only use Octane through the Cinema4D plugin so apologies if this question is in the wrong forum.

Thanks!

Hi,
c4doctane v4 does not have the support for RTX 30X0 Ampere GPUs, since it is based on a very old CUDA version.

To have the RTX 30X0 support, you need to install 2020.2, now we are at 2020.2.4

V4 was based on CUDA 10, and cannot be rewritten from scratch.
So, the only solution is to upgrade your v4 licenses to 2020, to be able to use new 2020.2 versions.

If you want to use new versions, you can purchase an annual Enterprise subscription update for 199€, but at the end of the annual maintenance, your licenses will go back to v4:

if you want to upgrade also your v4 perpetual licenses to perpetual v2020, the upgrading path is more expensive, to know the price, please visit the following link:
https://render.otoy.com/shop/upgrade.php
At the end of the annual maintenance, your licenses will stay to v2020.

Please note that all new subscriptions offer you the possibility to use any type of Octane DCC plug-in, including C4D or Maya, or OctaneX, and ORC/RNDR subscriptions, (render credits need to be purchased separately).
