OctaneRender 2020.2 LightWave Production build 2020.2.4.0

Hi,

This is an production release of the OctaneRender™ 2020.2 for LightWave™ plugin version 2020.2.4.0, available for LightWave 11.6, 2015.3, 2018.0, 2019.0/2019.1 and 2020.0 Windows x64 and MacOS (CUDA). This build has been compiled using the Octane 2020.2.4 core.

Make sure to use an NVIDIA Studio driver with version at least 456.38 on Windows or 455.23 on Linux to use this version. No driver updates are required for macOS 10.13 (CUDA).

New features
To learn more about the new features and improvements of OctaneRender 2020.2, please check out the 2020.2 release post, but this is a brief list of the main new features that have been added.

FEATURES AVAILABLE IN THE LIGHTWAVE PLUGIN:
  • Improved RTX performance.
  • Fast Spectral Nested Dielectrics.
  • Denoiser support for the new NVIDIA Ampere devices.
  • New chaos texture node.
  • Improved color correction node.
FEATURES STILL IN DEVELOPMENT:
  • ACEScg and filmic processing. New color options available in the Octane ROP node.
  • OpenColorIO Management, Display and Export (OCIO profile). Configured from the "OCIO" environment variable.
  • OpenColorIOColor graph nodes. Look, Profile and View nodes
  • Integrated multi-scatter from volumes or surfaces. Available in the Octane OBJ spare parameters.
  • User generated compositor AOV passes for combining render and light passes in full a compositor node graph.
  • Null material.
  • Spotlight texture.
  • New ray type, texture composite and channel tools shader nodes.

* PLUGIN FEATURES AND FIXES:

- Fixed the RTX enable/disable option. This option was always enabled in the previous builds.
- Fixed a problem with the LW clones instancing and the multi-thread scene extraction feature.
- Fixed a problem with the transformations updating in the LW instancers created as LW clones.

* OCTANE FEATURES AND BUGS FIXED:
- Fixed render failure when using a stereo panoramic camera with a focal depth set to zero with RTX on.
- Fixed render issue with microfacet models not calculating reflectance on total internal reflection.
- Fixed rendering regression with hair rendering in 2020.2 builds compared to 2020.1.5.
- Fixed shadow catcher material not responding to the opacity pin value.
- Fixed image texture transform conversions loading very old materials.
- Fixed case in which OSL textures would not be compiled upon being created or loaded.
- Fixed memory leak when using the baking texture node.
- Fixed incorrect texture mapping when the Z component of a UV transform is zero.
- Fixed issue causing UV transforms being ignored with plane primitives.
- Fixed flickering and brightens with the Hosek-Wilkie daylight model when using small sun sizes.
- Fixed possible application crash when using SDF/Vectron shaders which expose multiple materials.
- Fixed volume contribution for Cryptomatte passes which were counted twice.
- Fixed motion vector pass for triangles with deformation.
- Fixed issue with the denoiser causing an output color difference from the original pass.
- Fixed color blend and alpha operation combinations using output AOVs.
- Fixed differences between composite AOVs and the beauty pass.
- Fixed some unnecesary render restarts.
- Fixed issue causing ORBX packages to miss some data when being overwritten.
- Made renaming from temporary ORBX package file name more robust.
- Fixed the AI denoiser and upsampler for macOS.
- Fixed upsampling when the alpha channel is enabled.
- Fixed performance issue when resizing the LocalDB panel

I found the bug.
I have box, copy the box turn off in scene editor but Octane still render this box.
In the earlier version of Octane there was no problem.

When I click F9/F10 without closing the IPR the low sub-B of the viewport does not update to the high sub-D of the render.

I believe this is a bug, or not?

This is the expected behavior. The F9/F10 rendering from the IPR session doesn't reload the scene, so the rendering sub-D settings are not used. To fully reload the scene using the rendering settings you need to close the IPR window first.
