Octane on Blender experience

Hello people,

Hope you're doing well.

I've been using Octane for Blender since now 1 a month. The first week was really painful, because I had a lot of trouble with drivers and stability. It was almost impossible to make a render without having a weird error from Octane.
After a few exchanges with the support team, we found why Octane was not working well on my computer.

After 1 month of daily use (3-5hours a day), I have to say that a lot of tools in Octane are great. The displacement texture is so amazing ! The SSS looks gorgeous.
I made almost 15 images with Octane and each of them has beautiful lights, thanks to Octane.

Unfortunately, after 1 month of use, I can also see the limits. I tried to use Octane on small scene and everything was fine. I also tried Octane on professional kind of works with heavier files.
Heavier project and Octane for Blender are definitely not friend. I have a lot of instability, crash, render that won't start, samples that stop. Most of this issue can be solved by rebooting Octane. It's really weird, because with the same file and the same computer a file can work or not randomly. That makes Octane truly unusable for professional use. I tried almost everything... but it doesn't work properly.

Sometime a render from a file can be really fast and sometime the same file with the same render can multiply by two for no reason. Again a simple reboot of Octane make it works, which is so weird and annoying at the same time.
My computer is a brand new computer with a really good GPU, a lot of RAM, VRAM and a really good CPU.

I just wanted to share this experience, because I know I'm not the only one who experienced this issue with this wonderful render engine. I've talked with so many artists in the community of Blender and most of them don't use Octane for stability reason.
Hope this will help Blender users, but also Octane team to make a truly good and stable version of Octane for Blender.

I wish I could use this engine as my main one, but for now... It's impossible :-)
