Device preferences unavailable

I'm trying out the latest Octane render for Blender on Windows10 and can't seem to make it work. For some reason, in my device preferences, checkboxes are unavalable:

For that reason (probably) render gets stuck on "waiting for image" message with the log:

Code: Select all

Tried to access pin via an invalid ID P_UNKNOWN (0)
Tried to access null node pin
Can't read bool from static pin 'unknown' (P_UNKNOWN, type PT_UNKNOWN) of node '' (NT_UNKNOWN, 00007FF841158B20)
Tried to access pin via an invalid ID P_AI_LIGHT_STRENGTH (385)
Tried to access null node pin
Can't read float from static pin 'unknown' (P_UNKNOWN, type PT_UNKNOWN) of node '' (NT_UNKNOWN, 00007FF841158B20)
Tried to access pin via an invalid ID P_AI_LIGHT_STRENGTH (385)
Tried to access null node pin
Can't write float to static pin 'unknown' (P_UNKNOWN, type PT_UNKNOWN) of node '' (NT_UNKNOWN, 00007FF841158B20)
I tried already to reinstall graphic card drivers and CUDA drives as well, reinstalled both Blender and latest Octane Server, but this issue persist.

Can anyone suggest what can be done here to enable these device settings?

Tnx!

Hi,
please try to download and install 2020.2 Standalone.

You can find it by visiting your personal Downloads area:
https://render.otoy.com/account/download_archive.php
You need to select your purchased version from the Select Software pop up:

At first start, you will be asked to press the Download button, to automatically install a new cuDNN library to run it correctly:

I'm trying out the plugin for the Blender at the moment and don't have this in my Download area. I'll consider purchasing if I can run it on my PC. At this point just want to find out why I can't select (or see any) checkboxes in my preferences.

Please download and run octanebench 2020.1.5, and share a complete screenshot of the result, thanks:
https://render.otoy.com/downloads/a/61/ ... _5_win.zip

But please note that GTX 760 scores only ~36 in Octanebench, while we suggest a minimum of ~45:

Please have a look at the results of the currently supported GPUs:

Ok perfect, it means that you can use versions based on 2020.1.5 SDK without issues.
If you want to install a version based on 2020.2 SDK, please try to firstly install the following Standalone Demo version, it should ask to install the new cuDNN library as well:
