invert bump on laminat floor
improve textures of wall, especialy rock wall cos there is no natural variation of stone...
find better textures for stucco
this is good render with fair or i will say nothing special textures textures...
If you could improve your maps in PS and re render....
Try to find tutorials how poeple create seamless textures from stock images in PS
So you can take photos with your camera, or download from net and you can make them how they supose to look... not how they look when u get them...
Learn UV maping using blender + phostoshop and you can create great stuff...Its a pain and very hard work to create CG FREE textures and your rendering is great example of that.
So conclusion ----
Imporve your textures looking to real world pics...
Im sure that u will improve this image
and keep on good work !

I think this is a very good render ,apart from the floor bump ,the materials are realistic ,(i dont know what necko77 sees.
he sounds like a teacher ,would like to see some of his brilliant renders, cant find them in this forum ??)
keep up the good work.

I don't think your problem was a texture one, it is about the elements of the scene and the camera angel. You need to put some random reasonable elements here and there and change the camera angel to something more interesting, experiment with that.
