Displcement weight blend won't recognize vertex map

Hi octane friends
do anyone know why if I connect [vertex map] node to [blend weight] in [dispacement vertex mix] node,
and octane wouldn't recognize the vertex map?(octane 2020.2)

there are few ways I tried but all failed:
1.bake texture node to vertex map, but usesless
2.change vextex tag's position to the first one, but useless

Could it be a bug?

Thank you!

What if you change Vertex Map to Vertex Color ( RGB or Alpha mode ) ?

I would love to see this function supported as well.

Hey SSmolak,
I tried use Vertex color, but it is the same, looks like Octane don't support Vertex map in Blend weight

What if you drive Vertex Map by black and white gradient - connect vertex map to gradient before connecting it to Octane Material.

Right, it doesn't work at all. As I see the only way to use vertex maps is to mix two the same materials, one without Displacement and drive its Opacity by Vertex Map.

If Baking Texture would works with Vertex Maps there would be chance for Displacement too but even this setup doesn't work :
