Camera projection problems

Does anyone have a solution to camera projecting a texture onto some geometry?
I've tried all the OSL projection shaders and I can't get them to work unless I key in some very odd and seemingly arbitrary numbers to scale, offset and rotate the image.
Is there the same convenient way as the C4D camera projection mode in the texture tag?
I've attached reduced project file to show the problem.
