MIXED OS NETWORK RENDERING

Is there any progress regarding mixed Win/Apple OS network support?

Meaning: Having a constellation of Mac OS Big Sur (Metal/AMD) AND PC/Windows 10 (NVIDIA) systems running on one synchronized Octane Render-Network.

If not, when? ;)

The soonest this can happen is after the first 2021.1 stable release is out at which point Metal and CUDA will be fully in sync feature wise and we can see if at that point net render will be viable between the two for that update or the next one after.

thanks for that information. looking forward this really important progress. at that point it will be a push in productivity, without loss of intuition.
