Light flickers when camera passes through it

Hi otoy,
I have a light that needs to be in the cameras path. As the camera passes through it, the light intensity flickers. Can this be changed?
Details:
Octane light tag is set to 0% opacity and "Camera Visibility" and "Shadow Visibility" is set to off.

Very interesting deduction. I have forwarded the link to this chat to my colleague. Have you tried making the light larger, and, if so, does the issue persist?

The area light is 107cm which shouldn't have an effect on how the camera passes through it. My work around (which isn't optimal because i have to compromise the lighting aesthetic) is to have the light animate into position behind the camera after the camera passes it.

Could you try disabling the Camera visibility for that light? Failing that, file a ticket at
[email protected] and include the scene (Save Project with Assets...)

As mentioned, Octane light tag is set to 0% opacity and "Camera Visibility" and "Shadow Visibility" is set to off.
I will send it to them but its a complex scene, i dont know if they will be able to comprehend it because it has a bunch of lights animating on and off, multiple camera moves etc. but i'll send it.

Hello Octane users.
If you ever have a specular material in octane and during the animation you get some light flickering, make sure to go to the specular material in the basics tab > BRDF model, choose something other than Octane, which is the default.
A big shout out to JayRoth Octane Employee for solving this. Solid guy providing great customer service and technical expertise.
