-> failed to wait for event
device 1: path tracing kernel failed
CUDA error 700 on device 0: an illegal memory access was encountered

Anyone encountering this a lot lately?

Hi,
CUDA error 700 means that the Nvidia driver is not installed correctly, or it is the wrong version for your machine.
Did you install a Game ready version instead of a recent Studio version?

Please, perform a clean installation of 456.71 Nvidia Studio driver:
https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverR ... 6049/en-us

If this version does not work, please try with the DCH version:
https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverR ... 6051/en-us

To perform a clean installation, please follow these steps:

Then please, download and run OctaneBench 2020.1.5, and share a complete screenshot of the result, thanks.

I still get this issue regularly, tried a fresh install of everything as well.

Anyone else come across this issue with a lot of frequency?

Please perform a clean installation, or use DDU to completely remove any previously installed Nvidia driver.

CUDA error 700 is related to not correct or corrupted Nvidia driver installation.

I've been getting a lot of these type of errors starting yesterday... A clean install (several actually) have not remedied the problem.

By any chance are you using any OSL shaders?
