Even better than a Demo version!
New C4D OctaneX PR7 Big Sur 11.1 Free Prime plugin is available at OTOY shop page:
https://render.otoy.com/shop/primex.php
Here is the direct link
https://render.otoy.com/plugindownloads ... _Prime.zip
It is limited to max 1x GPU, and it requires Big Sur 11.1 with an AMD GPU or Intel SkyLake GPU (Apple M1 GPU support is considered beta/experimental).
There are also free Prime OctaneX versions for Maya, Houdini, LightWave, SketchUp, Blender!
Happy Mac GPU Rendering,
ciao Beppe

That sounds super great!!! I downloaded the cinema4d Plugin, installed, but I don't see an Otoy popup or octane menu item wen starting C4d.
On a M1 Mac Mini C4D R23.110 with Big Sur 11.1
Installed in /Applications/Maxon Cinema 4D R23/plugins , added the plugin directory in C4D and removed the older C4D xlib versions.
Any ideas?

You also need to allow the c4doctane plugin and library in System Preferences/Security and Privacy panel, and restart C4D a couple of times.
After you see Octane in c4d menu, please, go to c4d menu Extensions/Console, (Shift+F10), and share a complete screenshot of the panel, thanks.

Sorry, had to return my M1 Mac Mini today because of display problems, unusable. Will check it out as soon as I have a replacement.
Thanks for the reply!
