Hi! Is anybody able to use the latest blender octane version?
I’m on win 10, 1080ti, 32GB

I start the server. I’m logged in and my licenses are activated online.
When I open blender and switch the render engine to octane, a server window appears and tells me that my license is activated (green text).
At this point blender is frozen and won’t wake up.
It’s a complete fresh installation.

When not switching to octane as renderer (but still have blender octane opened) I’ve tried to download the materialdb.
It starts directly from 50% and freezes there.

I’ve retried all this multiple times. Restarted my PCs. Reinstalled everything. Open close the server. I never get anything working.
There is also no text in the cmd window!

What can I do?

Please be sure to have the latest NVIDIA Studio Drivers installed.

No does not work.
It seems like an ORC subscription is required. Its expired.
Will Blender Octane only work with this subscription?

Also, when starting the stand-alone version there comes a message:
"A license is available, however it does not have a valid all-access subscription".
0/1 license in-use

"RETRY" "SIGN OUT AND START AGAIN" "EXIT"

So- it looks like i cannot run an already paid software without paying more money, am i right?
Or is there an older version that runs with my octane 4 license?

Which kind of license do you have?
