Hello.

Iam not sure if this topic was already discussed.
There is a lot of rumur about Vizrt´s futher handling of Lightwave.
So my question is if LW development won´t go on am i still safe that
octane for LW Plugin support will continue?

There are no plans to leave the LightWave plugin development and support in the short term. In any case, we'll see what happens finally with LightWave and how many users are going to use it and the Octane plugin over the next years.

The main problem is the lack of support for the already limited, bugged, and ancient LightWave SDK, so well, I'm not even sure how the LightWave plugin is going to be able to support some of the new Octane features that work using complex dynamic nodes and so on. Let's see how far we can go with it.

Juan - we will use LW as long as you release octane for it...

Yes, I'm not going to drop any of the currently supported LightWave versions.
