maya demo saving file

Hi,
I really don't understand why the maya demo plugin is the only plugin that doesn't allow you to save a maya scene.
why all the other plugins don't have this limitation? C4D plugin has the biggest octane user base and doesn't have this limitation!!!
And if it wasn't enough maya plugin is not really the greatest compared to c4D one.
Do you how long it takes to convert a production scene to properly evaluate an engine?
It almost feels like you want to punish maya user with these double standards.
so please consider removing this non-sens limitation.
