Octane Plugin duplicates C4D materials in R23

I have been have been troubleshooting my problem with Maxon regarding duplicating of native C4D materials on a simple copy/paste of an object.
They could not replicate my problem and they suggested it may be a plug-in problem.
When I copy/paste and object..my C4D material gets duplicated also. This happens for C4D native materials and not Octane materials.
This happens only on the first copy/paste function. If I undo the copy/paste, and repeat copy/paste...everything works fine (materials are not duplicated)
BUT, when I disable the Octane Plug-in, everything works fine. This tells me it may be an Octane bug.
Can someone please try and see if you are experiencing this problem too?
I am using the newest R23 C4D (R23.110) and Octane releases (2020.1.5-R4).
(The previous R23.080 version gave me the same results)
Please try this...
1. Create a cube.
2. Create a C4D standard material and apply to cube.
3. Copy and Paste the cube.
Look at the bottom materials manager and see if the C4D material got duplicated also. It should not do this but it does for me.
Also, The C4D "delete duplicate materials" does not delete the material also.
Thank you,
