Problem with saved layouts

Is anyone else experiencing problems with switching to saved layouts? Since a couple of versions, the octane settings tab and/or the node editor is not responsive when switching to a custom layout. The Settings tab opens in a seperate window while the reserved tab just is an empty tab (see the attached screenshot).
The node editor stays in the window/tab but is just not responsive. Clicking "get active material" is not working (you can't even press the button).
After switching back to another layout and then back again usually works, sometimes it takes 3-5 attempts.
I know its not a big issue but maybe you can look into it.
I experienced with:
Complete new workstation as well as with my old one, R21, S22 and R23.
The last 2020 versions
The layouts are all dual/triple screen layouts.
The node editor stays in the window/tab but is just not responsive. Clicking "get active material" is not working (you can't even press the button).
