Murcielago red version tests

Hi all,
I did some thorough testing of Octane yesterday on my old lamborghini model,
I used mostly materials from the livedb (paint, metals, carbon fibre, etc...), the rest are all turbulence based procedurals (leather, plastics)
I rendered all 3 at the same time on a GTX580 in 3-4 hours with the PMC render kernel.
They are pure output, no post-proc, noise or firefly removal of any kind.
They came out ok so I thought i would post them in the gallery

awesome, but "test" is a total understatement viewing those renders.... 'cause what the fruit I've been doing all those years if my renders can't even compare to some "simple tests"

They are awesome but seems to be out of focus in some interest points like rims IMHO.
cheers

Ha! So you are one of those "rim-lovers", you pervert!
With such great models, it's hard to decide, there is so much detail that you'd want to show it all, yet if you aim for that "hiper-realistic" look you shouldn't (althou I usually just love to bend reallity a little just "'cause I can")

Very good work.
I like the exterior.
Did you rescale them or are the 1:1?
