Octane Refreshing/ReSending Scene

Hey All!

Ive noticed this for some time now, in Octanes Live viewer, even if i'm not changing any parameters in the scene and just watching a render....it will just randomly refresh and start all over.

I'm just wondering what causes this re-send, and if theres a workaround?

Nothing worse than watching a render for a few mins, only for it to re-send and start from 0.00....especially when this happens multiple times.

Keen for any thoughts :)

Probably shader effector, vertexmap or something like that causes it. Delete some parts of scene to find it. You cannot avoid that unless uncheck material or object updates.

Thanks for the reply Aoktar. Seems the shader effector is the cultrate. Even though theres no animation, is this a known bug/issue or is it unavoidable when using it?

It's not a bug, what shader effector does or works. Same issue happens when you use different renderers. There is not any safe way to avoid this without compromise performance/etc....
